Motor: Mixer will be driven by a 7.5 H.P. motor, 1750 R.P.M.
TEFC enclosure, Energy Efficient
Severe Duty for operation on 230/460 volts A.C
three phase, 60 hertz.
V-Belt Drive: Mixer will be complete with heat resistant
Static free, V-belts, sheaves and belt guard
Final output speed will be 420 R.P.M
with a minimum service factor of 1.25
based on motor horsepower.
Mixer Shaft: Shaft will be 2.00” diameter, by 26” long
as measured from the flange facing, constructed of carbon steel.
Mounting Flange: Mixer will mount on an 8”-150# A.N.S.I
forged steel, raised face flange with the bolt holes straddling the vertical centerline
The flange will have a carbon steel facing.
Shaft Seal: Integrally fabricated in the flange will be a Chesterton S10
single outside mechanical seal with Carbon vsSilicon Carbide seal faces
Viton elastomers and 316 stainless steel metallic components
This seal is rated to 150 psig maximum @ 350F
The seal is designed so that it may be replaced under
a full head of liquid without draining the tank contents.
Impeller: Mixer will be furnished with a 22” diameter
three bladed, FM3
FloMor high efficiency, foil impeller constructed of carbon Steel
The blades will be welded to the hub.
Support: Tie rods and turnbuckles will be supplied for supporting
the mixer to the tank wall.
Torque: 1,131 lb. - in.
Design Bending Moment: 1,527 lb. - in.
